My Best Friend Wedding

Attended Jasmi’s wedding with Koko in my hometown. Jasmi has been my good friend since we were in kindergarten. I was kinda sad, not because I wasn’t happy that she’s finally getting married, but I was about feeling lonely. She won’t be the same again, I mean. Now she’s someone’s wife. We can’t hang out as much as we did when she’s single. But I do feel very happy that she found her true love!

This is what I wore for her wedding. Koko and I were in a hurry because we had to catch a bus two hours after the wedding. We didn’t take any pictures of the wedding party. Actually we even forgot to bring his camera :D

Graduation Flowers

My friend Dyan asked me to do her make up and hijab styling for her graduation day. I was kinda speechless and excited. I did a trial version before the day because I was anxious, I was afraid I couldn’t meet her expectation. Here’s the trial version.

Dyan liked the trial version and I was so relieved. But all in a sudden she changed her mind and asked for another hijab style just right before the day. And… taraaa… this is what I finally did to her…

I hope I can post the tutorial soon… ahahaha…

Last week my best friend (more like an elder sister of me) Teh Puspa came from Bandung. She was in a secret vacation that she didn’t ever tell me exactly the whole plan. But we had so much fun, window (gadget) shopping (she’s a gadget freak) in Mal Ambassador and a little shopping in ITC Kuningan.

This is a little dress I got from that unplanned shopping. Teh Puspa suggested me to buy it. I didn’t really like it the first time I saw it, but now it’s one of my favourite dress. I wore it to campus a few days ago.

Vio told me about this blog a couple months ago, and I love it so much. I never really found a muslimah fashion blog that I really like before, but this one... I fall in love with it since the first time I saw it. It's really fascinating... her style is very Indonesia, so different from those hijabi-look I often found in hijablog. Her clothing style is cute yet feminine, and the most important, wearable. I wear more skirts and do more girlish-whimsical looks since I read her blog. She inspires me and adds extra guts for me to wear 7/8 skirts or dresses with leggings, which I rarely wore before.

... was about three weeks ago. Pity me. LDR is pretty hard. Sometimes I feel like being a widow. Sometimes I feel lonely during weekends. Yes, I know I can always hang out with casual friends or have some quality times with close friends, but it still it hits me when I saw couples anywhere we go. Sigh.

Oh, enuff whining. This is what I wore on our latest date. Yeah, its pink again. Actually I dont wear pink so often, but I take pictures of them more than any other colors I think. Ahahahah.

Oh, and excuse my narcism. I just wanna show you that I took some extra efforts to impress him with my enchanting eyes, haha...

And this is pic of us before he had a flight to Balikpapan. Some friends of mine asked why I wore this jilbab so often, its like I had nothing else to wear. Yeah. But I love it, its so comfy and goes with almost every colors of clothes.

See my necklace? Its so lame, but he likes it so much. Its one of his fav. He said that it brighten up my total look. Hah. Okay then.

Hwaa... its been while since I posted something. I've been busy because my BF came from Samarinda. We hangout everyday so I had no time for taking picture of what I was wearing or blogging, ahahaha.

I love to wear layered necklace like this...

First necklace is "batu alexandria" my BF bought this for me in Samarinda. There, you could get them at 50% from their price in Jakarta's jewelry shop.
The other necklace is made from woods, you coud grab them in almost every "toko benda imut" (this is how my BF called any shops like Strawberry, Naughty, Cindy n Yayang, He n She, etc)

Raining Ride

Went to see some boarding houses in Blok M this morning. Prabu was so kindhearted, he offered to accompany me. We went there, asked his highschool friends who stayed in Mpu Sendok to guide us, and ended up trapped in a heavy rain.

I wore black long cardigan I bought in Pasaraya Grande like I posted here. And that's a T-shirt I got on sale (forgot the final price). But they're all wet now. Sigh. I havent found a boarding house that meet my criteria (and my budget). And traffic jam is everywhere!!

College Attire

Okay, I have to tell you that my college is maybe worth an award 'college with the most boring college-wear'. Ahahaha. Here, we must wear shirt (no T Shirt allowed), for D3, actually only 4 colors of plain shirt allowed to wear (if I'm not mistaken, they're white, light yellow, baby blue, and grey) with a skirt in dark color for female students. No pattern is allowed. No stripes, no floral motif, no no no. For D4, the rule is a lil bit better. Trousers are allowed, stripes in any colors are welcome, but still, no T Shirt, no jeans, no corduroy.

For me, its even better if we had to wear uniform. At least we dont need to think what to wear tommorrow, we only have to add some jackets or accesories to personalize our style. With my college's clothing rule, it'll be more to work on. Because, all the plain thing will make me look so boring.

And yes, I consider my own college attire is boring. I have many clothes that meet the rule but still fun enough like this one, but usually I dont have enough guts to wear them. Why? Because its gonna be pretty strange dressed up like this among people who wear white plain shirt with a black plain skirt.

And this is a closer look of my jilbab.

So I usually end up dress up this way. Brown tunic with brown hijab, along with a black pants. Yeah, kinda boring I know.

If I could do something special, then it'll be my make up. I didnt do much either, but I put some mascara and draw an eye intensity with my eye liner.

I used magenta eyeshadow that day. Just a light line, but enough to brighten my boring day.

Someone help me please. Gimme some ideas for college outfit. With my rules, of course.

I. Have a thing for necklace. Iya, kalung.
Rasanya, ada yg kuraaang kl ga pake benda di leher itu.
Tapi cuma berlaku buat outside-college-outfit ya, buat kuliah, im a plain-school-girl. PAke kemeja, rok, dan sneaker,abisan suka keburu2. Bangun aja siang, huhahahhaha.
My favorite necklace is an inherintance from my mum.. Colourful beads, waist-length, made from wood.
This necklace goes for almost every anything,especially plain top.

You know, i have these oversized blouses which fit me, comfort, but the problem is..
They look like a-daster when you wear them just like that. _ _

What to do, girls? repeat after me. BELT.
A nice, cute accent of color will add a bit of shape, not that-tight-shape, but it helps your blouse to look good on you.
Wide belt to be worn outside the blouse, is really helpful, not only it gives you a nice shape, but also a twist of color.

This Purple blouse was just plain at the beginning, so i added this DIY belt, made from wide ethnic ribbon. Cute, isn't it?

Me versus High Heels

I dont like wearing heels.
I (almost) hate wearing heels.
But, aside that fact, i like heels, not to be wore, but to be adored. hahaha..
I myself, have some heels, which i RARELY use, for the sake of comfort.
Back then, actualy there were times when i often wear heels. I prefer wedges, though..
They look nice on your feet, but less painful than stiletto.

And this is me, and still with my beloved cellphone. My sister yelled at me: stop doing that! I'm sick of you and your cellphone, making picture everyday in front of my mirror in my room! And I replied: then why don't you take that digicam and make some picture of me in the living room, sis? And you now what she did? Yeah, for sure, she kicked me out from her room.

Btw this is my sneakers. It looks all brand new, right? I had just get them washed, and I bought a new pink shoelace. Cute, arent they?
